Risen · updated 11/04/2026
Risen is one app, with one account and two interfaces: Club (workouts, alone or in a group) and Pro (habits and organizing your day). Here we explain what data we keep, why, who sees it and how you control all of it (Brazil's General Data Protection Law, LGPD).
We don't use ads, we don't track you in other apps or websites, and we don't sell or share your data for marketing. We only use the cookies needed to sign you in and keep you signed in.
The workout photo is remade on your device before it's sent, so the location stored in the original file never reaches us. The photo's date is read only on your device, to accept a photo from the workout day.
To work without internet, the app keeps workouts not sent yet and a copy of your screens and Pro data on your device. Deleting your account clears that copy.
We only get your name, your email (or Apple's private email) and an ID. We don't read your emails, contacts or files.
Only if you tap Connect (Pro interface → More → Connections). Strava: we read your workouts (name, type, date, distance and time) to check off your workout habit, and we keep your first name and Strava athlete number. Google Calendar: we read and write events on your primary calendar, so they match in Risen and in Google. Access keys are stored encrypted on the server and are never shown to anyone. We don't use this data for ads, we don't sell it and we don't show it to your groups. To disconnect: Pro → More → Connections → Disconnect (deleting your account also disconnects). The use of data received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Calendar link: on the same screen, Pro creates a personal link to show your events in calendar apps. Anyone with this link sees them, so don't pass it on. If it leaks, ask support to change it.
We have zero tolerance for offensive content and abusive people. Anyone who breaks the rules may have content removed, be taken out of the group or have the account banned. A banned account can't sign in, but nothing in it is deleted, and the ban can be undone. If an account is banned or taken out of a group for breaking the rules, we keep a one-way version (a hash, which can't be read back into the address) of the email and the Apple ID, even after the account is deleted, only so the same sign-in does not come back. Someone who was banned can ask support to delete their data.
Data and photos are stored on Supabase (database and storage, São Paulo region, Brazil). The site and network run through Cloudflare. All over an encrypted connection. Sign-in through Apple and Google. E-mail sign-in codes through Resend (USA). Notifications through Apple and your browser's service (Google, Apple, Mozilla or Microsoft). These providers only process what the service needs and must give the data the same or equal protection as described here. Some have servers outside Brazil, so part of the data may pass through other countries.
As long as your account exists, with these exceptions:
You can see and fix your data in the app itself and you can delete your account any time in Settings → Delete my account, in both interfaces: in Club, under Profile → Settings; in Pro, under More → Settings. Right away we delete your account, workouts, photos, points, messages, challenges, Pro data and connections. A group you manage passes to someone else, or is deleted if it ends up empty. Reports you made remain, without your name. For someone banned or taken out of a group for breaking the rules, only the hash described above stays. What was in backup copies is gone within 60 days.
Pro downloads a copy of your data in Settings → Download backup. To get a copy of the rest or for any other request, write to support@risenclub.com.br or to the data protection officer. We reply within 15 days.
Risen is only for people 18 and older. If there are signs an account belongs to someone younger, we suspend access.
If there's a security incident involving your data, we'll notify you and the ANPD (Brazil's National Data Protection Authority).
